To the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy, with the support of the Boris Lozhkin Charitable Foundation, the book “Righteous Among the Nations. Ukraine” was published, which is dedicated to the Ukrainians who saved Jews during the Holocaust.

The book lists about 2,700 names of the Ukrainians officially recognized today as the Righteous Among the Nations by the Israeli Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center.

In addition to the comprehensive list of the Righteous in each region of Ukraine, the book also presents some stories of the salvation of the Jews and photos of the Righteous themselves.

During the events dedicated to the memory of the Babyn Yar victims, the book was presented to the President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog.

The book “Righteous Among the Nations. Ukraine” was published by “Our Format” publishing house. Its publication was prepared in partnership with the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine, Yad Vashem - the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, the Babyn Yar Holocaust Memorial Center, and the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress.
