
Golda Meir’s autobiography “My Life” has been published in Ukrainian in the “Jewish Library”
The autobiography of the fourth Prime Minister of Israel, Golda Meir, was published with the assistance of the Boris Lozhkin Charitable Foundation in the “Jewish Library” book series, which publishes the first translations into Ukrainian of the world-famous works about Jews and Israel.
This book is already the second in the “Jewish Library”. The work of Dr. Daniel Gordis “Israel: A Concise History of a Nation Reborn” was the first.
“My Life” by Golda Meir is among the best memoirs of the twentieth-century politicians. It was first published in 1973, and immediately became a world bestseller.
Golda Meir, who was born in Kyiv, speaks in a lively and fascinating manner in the book about the various stages of her personal life, which in many things coincide with the history of the birth and development of the State of Israel.
The partners of the Boris Lozhkin Charitable Foundation and the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine in the creation of the Jewish Library series are the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress and the Ostrozky Princes Foundation of the family of Yuriy and Iryna Lutsenko. The book was published by “Our Format” publishing house.
