Anesthesia Ventilator for Kyiv Clinical Hospital No 15

Charitable Foundation of Boris Lozkin and Nadiia Shalomova has donated to the Kyiv Clinical Hospital No 15 a high-end WATO EX-20 Anesthesia Ventilator, which will allow the doctors to provide effective medical care to patients in the moderate and severe stages of the disease. In this way the Foundation supports the Kyivans and Vitali Klitschko’s team in the common fight against the coronavirus.

“As the experience of other countries shows, the number of patients that have recovered from COVID-19 directly depends on the level of hospital equipment. Unfortunately, the state of the healthcare system in Ukraine is far from ideal. And Kyiv is not an exception in this regard. The number of the coronavirus cases in the capital has crossed the 1,000 mark, therefore, the support of clinics and doctors is so important,” said Boris Lozhkin

WATO EX-20 Anesthesia Ventilator, which has been given over to the doctors of Clinical Hospital No 15, uses the latest architecture for anesthesia supervision, with an intelligent accounting system for the required volume of air. It allows maintaining the respiratory function of patients of different ages, including children. This flexibility is of great importance, as in case of peak loads on the intensive care units, the device can be used for any patients who are in critical condition. A significant superiority of the device is also its ease of use. Hospital doctors will be able to learn to operate it in the shortest possible time.
